Students listened (as well had a printed copy to incorporate both auditory and visual learning styles) to Mr. Wiesel's Indifference Speech he gave at the White House as part of the Millennium Lecture Series through the use of EdPuzzle. With EdPuzzle, I was able to embed questions and descriptions throughout the speech to hold students accountable for their learning and attention. This cross-curricular assignment allowed students to make connections to real-world issues, like bullying with historical relevance, as well as taught about the use of fallacies in a speech. Students were also able to use critical thinking of 21C learning and technology.
