Understanding 1st, 2nd and 3rd points of view can often be tricky, especially when one digs deeper to identify 3rd person objective, 3rd limited and 3rd omniscient. Students used the iPads to access Google Classroom while doing a gallery walk to identify the points of view of passages taken from published books, so students could see how understanding and identifying the point of view aides in further comprehension and understanding in real-life texts. Google classroom aided in the ease of their saved materials and 'turning in' their assignment...no paper to lose and environmentally friendly.

Point of view??? It is important to see things from different points of view. Your view isn't always the way someone else views subject matter, relationships, and even writing. Being able to see if a story is told from first person, third person and so on will transfer to more valuable skills in the long run. It will help you make informed decisions based on what you read. Keep going BMS!!!!
